Love the fast friendly service and exceptionally good food. Great Sushi. Love the Volcano & the Pink Lady Roll It's simply a terrific place with the best food, employees & atmosphere.

I had the Volcano Roll, amazing... If you like spicy stuff, get it. The Volcano sauce gives it some kick, but not overwhelming. Also had the crab wontons, very light, crispy, and tasty. The dipping sauce for them is awesome. I dipped my other rolls in it until it was gone lol. Then I had the deep fried cheesecake for desert. Wow, it was good. Completely happy with this eating experience. Server was great as well!

I’ve been to more expensive places and this place here beats a lot of them. They aren’t pricey at all and for this town I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. Good job!

This place is great I absolutely love it I finally found the soup I've been looking for , for a year I 1000% recommended

Food is delicious and reasonably priced. It's our half way meeting place to pick up grandkids from their parents. Always good and we've been going there for 5 years!

Food was great and service was awesome. Great menu and very well explained. Would have given 5 stars if the bathroom weren't soooooooo very CREEPY. Looked like something from a horror movie. Wait until you get home.

I wish I could give them more than five stars. Newport honestly hit the jackpot to have authentic amazing sushi! Every bit of the food was fresh and amazing. My husband and I enjoyed the conversation with the owner and a waitress there! Do not let the appearance deter you as the food is phenomenal!!!!

Great place to eat good food and service

Great food and the owners are very nice and friendly. I would recommend anyone to come here. They have great prices and the best sushi I have ate in the 7 states I've been in. The sushi here is fresh never frozen. I would drive a 100 miles to this place just to eat their sushi it's that good. Their are many people that drives 50 miles or more just to eat this sushi and they come often. They can also make almost any roll you can think of and custom made rolls, nigiri or sashimi. They have habatchi and teriyaki food as well. I eat here all the time I have never gotten sick. If you can finish a whole plate from here I would be surprised I have barely done it a few times. They now have cheesecake again and it's good it's New York cheese cake the good stuff 😍

Great service and EXCELLENT food. Owner is super nice. Awesome scallops (which is harder than you think to find lol) amazing sushi... Restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. On point, sir!!!

This is the best place to eat!! They have amazing sushi and Wong tongs great customer service it’s the best definitely definitely would try this place out it is no joke I love it I’ve been a loyal customer and always will!!!😊😊🤪

I'm happy to say I finally found a good sushi place in Newport. I have gone several times since I found this place & finally decided to do a review. Overall I like it & will keep going back unless something changes.Pros-• Good sushi. (Not the best but I like it pretty well)• Good food in general.• Good prices. (The food to price ratio is great)Cons-• Bad location. (Took nearly 6+ months before I noticed it & even then I didn't know what it was a restaurant)• Severally under staffed. (1 waitress, 1 sushi chef, & 1 cook at any time)• Severs are not well trained. (I waited tables for 6 yrs & after watching them I can tell they don't know the most productive way to wait on people or what priority things should be in)

Food and proportions were good. Server was very attentive. We were taken care of quickly and food came out pretty fast as well. Salad was just chopped iceberg with very liquidy ranch, that was the only thing we didnt like... Bathrooms could use more attention.

Plenty of food you get the main course with salad AND soup. The teriyaki chicken plate and vegetable plate was very good.

They have a really great lunch special for $10.99 that last 11-4pm I think. I took a pic of my meal and it was really awesome. I had chicken hibachi, soup, crab Rangoon, and a California sushi roll.

My boyfriend and I were on a road trip to South Carolina and found this place through Google restaurants. We stopped and were pleasantly surprised. The sushi was AMAZING, his food was just as good, and the owners were extremely friendly&helpful. Stop and try it...You Won't regret it.
